RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Environmental Compliance Intern at our I-105 Express Lanes project, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and training in a real-world setting. You will support the Environmental Compliance team in implementing the company's environmental compliance program on a variety of exciting construction projects. Partnering with senior field leaders, you will monitor construction activities, aid in site inspections, prepare compliance documentation and reporting, and work with project teams to implement corrective measures as necessary. Position Description:
The Field Engineer (FE) works directly for the Superintendent and is expected to exercise judgment and discretion in making recommendations, implementing policies and procedures and handling a wide variety of matters in the field. The position is normally, but not necessarily preparatory to becoming an Office Engineer or Project Engineer. The primary purpose of the position is to proactively aid the Superintendent in front-line field management. In addition, the position requires a considerable amount of work, responsibility, persistence, problem solving ability and good attitude, because the FE is responsible for the majority of the layout on a project, supervision of trade workers and subcontractor employees, as well as lift drawings, safety, and quality control responsibilities. Although the majority of a Field Engineer's time will be spent in the field, there are some duties which will require work in the field office.This is a safety sensitive position.

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent. This individual will work with our project management team and our subcontractors to manage day-to-day site activities, driving field execution, and ensuring alignment with project schedule, safety standards, quality expectations, and design intent. The Field Superintendent plays a critical leadership role, directing trade partners, supervisors, and field staff across multiple scopes in a complex mission-critical environment. The position requires experience in managing high-volume structural, CSA, and MEP scopes in parallel with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve coordination issues in the field. The Heavy Equipment Mechanicwill be responsible for traveling to our job sites in California and performing diagnostics and repairs on our heavy equipment and fleet trucks. The preferred applicant will have vast experience in the industry, able to do about anything needed to fix all aspects of equipment like skid steers, mini's, excavators, dozers, plows and such.
