The Position:

The Senior Manager, People & Culture serves as a partner to the Regional HRBP to support our Mission Critical project team in Las Vegas, NV on driving performance, engagement, and development. Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and build strong relationships with the project team, effectively using influence and negotiation strategies to secure support from stakeholders of key initiatives.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards for the P&C department by responding to employee inquiries and requests for client group, escalating to Business Partner, P&C Ops Manager or other appropriate P&C team members as needed.
• Be an integral part of the employee experience by owning onboarding and offboarding tasks for the project site. Ensure new hires are equipped with Company technology and understand training tools.
• Support the relocation process with the Mobility team as required, ensuring new hires and transfers have the resources needed to ensure a smooth transition.
• Be a trusted advisor, coaching project leadership on leadership effectiveness and performance.
• Support the Regional HRBP to drive and execute the annual Performance Management and Talent Review process on-site.
• Support the Regional HRBP with the annual and quarterly compensation planning process.
• Effectively use influence and negotiation strategies to secure support from stakeholders for support of key initiatives.
• In line with Suffolk’s vision and strategic priorities, drive employee engagement through the entire employment life cycle. This includes supporting the engagement survey process, conducting new hire check-ins and stay interviews, and exit interviews. Use insights to support managers in enhancing and improving the employee experience.
• Lead on-site employee relations resolutions, minimizing risk to the organization by actively responding to and addressing employee concerns in a timely, cost-efficient manner, escalating to Regional HRBP and legal as necessary.
• Conduct complete investigations and make recommendations based on findings/facts, partnering with Regional HRBP and legal counsel.
• Lead and manage change across client group to influence project site culture. Implement change programs as business needs dictate.
• Be a DE&I champion for the project in partnership with the DE&I team.
• Support the broader HRBP team as a trusted colleague and sounding board for new and improved company-wide programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive HR Manager or Business Partner related experience.
• Ability to work on the project site full-time.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage data and a fact-base in delivering HR programs and strategies that effectively address business issues.

Overview

As an Electrical Superintendent, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of all electrical operations on-site. From planning and coordination to hands-on oversight, you’ll ensure every aspect of the electrical discipline is delivered on time, within budget, and to exact specifications. Your role will flex depending on the client and project scale—sometimes leading a small team, other times orchestrating large-scale efforts with broader authority. Location & Travel Details: You can be based in any city or state in the U.S.. This is a traveling, project based position, up to 90% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US.You’ll spend 8-18 months on average per project. We offer designated per diem in addition to an excellent base salary to support and help you cover living expenses. • Incorporate change order revisions into the schedule of values.
• Assist in preparation of the monthly job status report.
• Ensure that all project cost items are coded properly according to the chart of accounts and recorded and paid in a timely manner.
• Monitor all reports from the performance reporting system for accuracy and consistency and assist Project Manager in making all necessary revisions.
• Direct a variety of jobsite personnel functions, (e.g., pre-employment/pre-transfer physical exams and drug tests, reference checks, new employee enrollments and orientations, group insurance)
• Assist the Project Manager in a number of functions related to close out of a project to include the final billing to the owner.
• Perform a wide variety of related administrative support tasks, (e.g., preparation of safety reports, equipment inventories and maintenance records). Ensure that all equipment onsite is reported for insurance purposes.
• Establish and maintain the project filing system.

PC is seeking a Mechanical Foreman responsible for managing and working with multiple crew members on self-perform projects, and with a range of trade disciplines. It is preferred that applicants have three experience as a mechanical foreman and six years experience with installation of flanged piping systems. Experience working with large diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping systems, installation of process equipment for a wastewater treatment plant, and expertise with rigging of piping and equipment, along with a willingness to assist will ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to include integrating subcontractor work as needed
• Work with tools when needed, and teach/mentor others to do so
• Travel to jobsites as required
