Project Overview:
Bechtel's Infrastructure and Power is an exciting and growing business unit that is actively involved with large scale combined cycle projects and behind-the-meter gigawatt scale microgrids for delivering power to Artificial Intelligence (AI) datacenters. Job Summary:
In this role, you will produce earthwork deliverables for Combined Cycle Power Projects. You will prepare drawings, facilitate discussions, communicate complex technical issues, and prepare civil/structural design estimates and work plan. Your recommendations will ensure designs and work plans are in accordance with project scope, schedule, budget, regulations, and standards.
Travel Requirement: This position may involve business travel to project sites across the United States and Canada, as well as to our engineering offices in India.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Major Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews design work within a small-size civil/structuralâ¯design work group on projects of medium size or assignments in support of globalâ¯business unitâ
- Produces drawings and documentation in accordance with established design and scopeâ¯including design of earthwork, drainage and road design.
- Coordinates and interfaces as directed with the day-to-day technical work of civil/structuralâ¯engineers, scientists, specialists, designers and draftersâ
- Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upperâ¯managementâ
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of civil design estimates and work plan inâ¯accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation andâ¯performance accordinglyâ
- Coordinates with client representatives as delegated to obtain approval on phases of workâ
- Reviews key civil/structural engineering drawings and calculations and bidâ¯summariesâ
- Mentors civil designers and drafters by providing appropriate on-the-job trainingâ¯for their professional developmentâ
- Ensures civil earthworks designs comply with all applicable installation codes,â¯regulations, and standards
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires associate's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Job Description
This position serves as a material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics or field purchasing team member who, with guidance from Purchasing Management, handles project material or non-project procurement support for an office, group of overhead departments or indirect procurement category within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures. This role assists other material management specialists and technicians, as required. The Buyer is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for executing procurement activities for materials and equipment in support of complex projects from pre-award through closeout.
⢠Prepare bid packages, manage bidder communications and clarification meetings and administer quotation timelines with supervision
⢠Conduct commercial bid evaluations evaluating pricing, terms, delivery and compliance with supervision
⢠Monitor and report purchasing discipline documents from engineering pre-commitment through to purchase order issuance
⢠Validate supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
⢠Perform purchase order close-out activities in accordance with project procedures

Basic Job Requirements

IME is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting team. This position will primarily focus on payroll processing while also supporting accounts payable and other accounting functions as needed. The ideal candidate will bring strong payroll experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly union payroll and biweekly non-union payroll, ensuring compliance with multiple IBEW labor agreements and varying state and regional requirements.
- Review and validate timesheets submitted by field leadership, ensuring accuracy in hours, job costing, and employee classifications.
- Maintain and update payroll records including new hires, terminations, pay changes, benefits deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and OCIP/DCIP documentation, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with project and government requirements.
- Partner with HR and the parent company to ensure accurate benefit deductions and reporting of union fringe benefits.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, including uncashed checks, stop payments, retroactive corrections, and employee inquiries.
- Stay current on federal, state, and union regulations impacting payroll and labor compliance requirements.
- Assist with accounts payable functions including invoice processing, coding, data entry, and vendor communication as needed.
- Support month-end accounting processes and maintain organized payroll and AP documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to support payroll, accounting, union, and government audits.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy when handling sensitive employee and financial information.
- Assist with payroll system updates, process improvements, and implementation projects as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day or task specific quality management of a project such as capturing, documenting, publishing and tracking tests, inspections, submittals and procedures for project compliance
Conducts work planning development, pre-activity meetings, initial meetings, TQAs, submittals, material management, inspections and follow-up.

Creates and implements project specific inspection and test plans, quality control plans and other procedures as necessary. Provides the project team with material specification review such as concrete mix design, thermal control and other quality specialized elements.
Writes, follows-up and shares lessons learned through QIRs.
Utilizes quality and risk management to provide cost reduction strategies for the project team through proactive quality approach and lesson sharing to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
Provides Project Manager and Quality Manager with issue resolution, owner meetings, subcontractor coordination and field management.
Where necessary, schedules inspection of the works with coordination between operations, consultants, testing laboratories and the Client.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelorâs degree is preferred or equivalent related field experience
USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required.
Industry certifications for testing and inspection as required to perform job duties
Minimum 5 years of experience in an applicable AEC field.
Good communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time.
Knowledge of standards, specifications and publications of job-related duties.
