Qualifications

Required

Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse, and in a trailer or building on construction sites.  On construction sites noise levels will be moderate to high.  Job site will contain - light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking, bells whistles and alarms. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides assistance, leadership and coordination of project plan and proposal development activities during the bidding/negotiation phase.
• Supports project management activities related to critical vendors and JV partners including bidding, contract/agreement development and management of contract & deliverables.
• Responsible for managing the interfaces between Engineering, Procurement & Construction forall critical materials.
• Leads the coordination of the Project Execution Planning & AWP processes during the Engineering, Procurement, Construction phases of a project.
• Provides support, as needed, to the Project Manager/Director, Engineering Manager, Procurement Manager, Construction Manager, Project Controls Manager, and Commissioning Manager.
• Provides feedback on schedule, cost, and progress performance of selected critical materialspackages to the respective departments.
• Ensures schedule, cost, change management, and progress are being reported accurately and timely by their respective departments.
• Analyzes project schedule, progress, cost reports and provides input to Project Management Team to assist in developing mitigation plans to manage the work.
• Assist with the regular reporting to Projects Group management and to the Client/Owner of performance and progress related to selected scopes of Engineering, Procurement, Construction.

The Scaffold and Insulation laborer will install, repair, and/or remove insulation on piping, ductwork, industrial equipment, and other surfaces. They will also fabricate and install removable insulation blankets. The Insulation laborer will work with a sheet metal worker who will help select the type and size or insulation and related materials to be used according to project requirements. They will also be required to assemble and dismantle tubular and system scaffolding or other temporary structures, installing ladders, walkways and handrails at sites using a variety of tools and lifts. They are responsible for cleaning and preparing sites, including removing debris and loading/unloading scaffolding material.

• Installs and replaces scaffolding and insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
• Loads and unloads insulation materials.
• Measures and cut insulation to fit round pipes and equipment.
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, wire, or banding, as needed.
• Employees are expected to bring necessary tools to jobsite.
• Will be trained on how to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.

Scaffold Builder - Leadman

This person will supervise in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantlingoftubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determines type of scaffold needed and how to properly instruct on how to install.
• Oversight of transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.
• Properly secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for the erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
• Supervises thedismantlingof scaffolding when it has been properly communicated to do so.
• Inspects and properly stows scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.
