Position Summary
Riggers will be responsible for the lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials. They will inspect all applicable rigging. Plan for lifts using the weight of the load, lifting capacity of equipment, and other relative information needed to plan safely any heavy load movement. Attach load using slings, chains, cables, hooks, shackles, and other related equipment. They will be responsible for signaling to the operator during lift with instructions.

The purpose of this job is to provide supervision and coordination of workers (both skilled and unskilled) engaged in various types of construction projects, such as construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures etc. The goals of this position include scheduling work to meet timetables in a safe manner, per the plans and specifications, and to meet estimated cost.
