Position Summary
The Industrial Janitorial Foreman is responsible for leading janitorial operations at Bayer Luling facility, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance Zachry/Bayer site requirements. This role supervises crews, coordinates with operations and maintenance personnel, and maintains cleanliness across process units, administrative areas, warehouse, and common spaces.
Key Responsibilities
â¢Supervise and direct daily janitorial activities across the Bayer Luling site
â¢Assign work task based on plant priorities, production schedules, and safety requirements
â¢Ensure all cleaning tasks meet Zachry/ Bayer standards for housekeeping, environmental compliance, and audit readiness
â¢Conduct regular inspections of work areas (units, control rooms, shops, break areas, restrooms, etc.)
â¢Enforce strict compliance with Zachry/ Bayer safety policies, including:
oPPE requirements
oBadging and accountability for plant alarms
oAbsenteeism
oRolling stock
oIncident reporting
â¢Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and daily pre-job briefings
â¢Train and mentor janitorial personnel on site procedures, cleaning methods, and hazard recognition
â¢Coordinate with Bayer operations, maintenance, and contract management for:
oScheduled cleaning work
oTurnarounds and outages
oEmergency response (spills, housekeeping events)
â¢Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies, tools, and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage
â¢Track labor hours, crew productivity, and job completion status
â¢Report incidents, safety observations, and near misses in accordance with Zachry/Bayer protocols
Qualifications
â¢High diploma or GED required
â¢Minimum 5 years of industrial janitorial or plant services experience
â¢At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
â¢Experience working in a chemical plant, refinery, or industrial manufacturing environment preferred
â¢Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (Burnishers, single disc strippers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners, etc.)
â¢Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to Field Project Managers in planning, managing, and monitoring major projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical field from an accredited university
5+ years Project Controls Manager or Project Manager experience in Construction, preferably industrial projects (such as petrochemical, refinery, power, offshore platforms).
Experience should include understanding contracts, standard commercial T&Câs, contract compliance, invoice auditing, and proposal experience considered a major plus.
Desired experience also includes time spent âin the fieldâ on jobsites, with an understanding of productivity drivers
Requires in depth working knowledge of Oil and Gas and/or Petrochemical cost control, scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting methods.
Superior problem-solving ability
Ability to analyze qualitative data; should be capable of âboiling downâ large amounts of data into relevant / actionable information
Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge in using personal computer and application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. MS Access desired.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will join the Project Development Group and contribute to the winning effort of negotiating and awarding subcontracts on large-scale construction projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the timely award and execution of subcontracts that encompass the full scope of work necessary to build projects of all sizes and levels of complexity
Ensures trade budget goals are met or exceeded through effective subcontract negotiation

The Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment.
