Holder Construction is currently seeking experienced Carpentersto support our project located in Richmond, VA.
The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.
Carpenterresponsibilities include performing skilled carpentry work in the maintenance and repair of commercial buildings and facilities, including but not limited to rough carpentry, misc. concrete activities, or finish wall paneling, casework, and trim. Duties include constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection. This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess 3 years of experience, able to read drawings and have training in construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor)). A high school diploma or GED are a plus as well as strong time management skills.
Qualified Candidates must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, have the ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.

Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including master services agreements, purchase orders, confidentiality agreements, and vendor agreements.

Develop legal solutions while effectively managing practical business considerations.
Work collaboratively as a member of the Contracts Team and with internal clients to develop strategies to address and resolve identified contractual issues.
Build rapport with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
Understand legal and client business goals and how they impact the companyâs commercial operations.
Assist with implementing and managing contract management/legal matter management systems.
Collect, analyze and summarize contract information and trends.
Train additional Contracts Team members as the team grows.

Qualifications:
