Position Summary: The Low Voltage Construction Manager will manage the low voltage electrical team and information from start to finish for large hi-tech projects. The Low Voltage Construction Manager will collaborate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex low voltage electrical coordination issues. This position is on the front line to aid in avoiding and solving technical problems that arise. The Low Voltage Construction Manager will lead onsite low voltage electrical quality control efforts, which will include document review during preconstruction through commissioning and punch list.
SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $130,000â¯â¯â¯
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee low voltage electrical subcontractors and vendors installation work daily to insure they are maintaining their installation schedule, support system startup and commissioning activities.
- Interpretation of construction documents, controlsequences and technical manuals.
- Run startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, Design Team members,multiplesubcontractors, local utility agenciesand owners to coordinate/ driveMEP system starts up activities
- Interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating mechanical/electrical startups
- Verify all documentationis complete and equipment being prepared for startup is construction complete and can be safely started
- CoordinateMEP systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design
- Organize and facilitate training of Ownerâs personnel in the operations and maintenance of MEP systems
- Review and processproject submittalinformation and coordinate betweenmultiplesubmittalstoensurethe accuracy and functionality of each component of the variousMEP systems
- Receiving and distributingrequestsfor information (RFI)and change documents issued by otherteam members
- Organization, ensure completion and filing of record documents
- Field surveying layout of control lines and benchmarks
- Information storageand retrieval using a computer and other handheld electronic hardware.

- Secure low voltage electrical subcontractor and equipment buyout
- Manage low voltage electrical subcontractor contracts and contract modifications
- Oversee billing and schedule of values for low voltage electrical subcontractors and vendors
- Assist with managing low voltage electrical team project staffing
- Write and publish meeting minutes, schedule graphs and activity checklists
- Provide clear communication verbally, written and electronically
Qualifications:
Professional Experience and Education:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of low voltage electrical construction
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or field work experience
- Education background in materials and methods of construction
- A minimum of 5 years of electrical construction experience
- Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor types of projects
- LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within 18 months preferred
- Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method; familiar with CSI specification system for construction
- Ability to work closely with trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential to being able to maintain a cooperative attitude through pressure situations
Position Related Skills:
- Skills in handling several work activities at once while frequently interrupted by phone calls and urgent questions on work in progress
- Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques
- Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to work closely with project owners, architects, engineers, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Must be a dedicated team player, self-starter, flexible and be able to work well with a variety of personalities and minimal instruction. Must be able to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Project Overview:
Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for inventory management activities for a project or jobsite. You will ensure conformance to corporate policies including receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and issue of materials and equipment. You will monitor employee utilization, work hours, and staffing. Your efforts will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely material management. #LI-CS1
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervises material management operations of personnel assigned to large construction projects to ensure conformance to corporate, global business unit and project policies and procedures in all disciplines and functional areas for which material management is responsible including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control (manual and/or automated), physical security and issue of materials and equipment
- Identifies the need and completing the action for all UOS&D material and
equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations - Initiates actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of initial organizational charts for material management activities at temporary operating and job site locations
- Assists Project Field Procurement Manager in preparing Field Procurement workhour estimates

- Assists the Inventory Manager in staffing project temporary operating and jobsite locations

Education and Experience Requirements:

About this Role
NorthStar Energy Services is seeking an experiencedElectrical Engineer to join our Professional Engineering Consulting team. This role supports the design and execution of electrical systems for energy, petrochemical, and industrial facilities. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing electrical design concepts, performing advanced engineering analyses, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements across the full project lifecycle.
This position works closely with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams and plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and constructible electrical designs for complex energy facilities.

What You'll Do
Engineering & Design
- Perform advanced electrical engineering analysis and system studies including arc flash, short circuit, relay coordination, motor starting, voltage drop, and load flow using ETAP or equivalent tools.
- Develop electrical system designs including one-line diagrams, motor control schematics, conduit and cable schedules, grounding systems, and point-to-point wiring diagrams.
- Size and specify electrical power distribution, control equipment, and protection systems in accordance with project requirements.
- Support specialized electrical design activities such as area classification studies, overhead distribution, conduit design (above- and below-grade), and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integration.
- Review process and mechanical documents (PFDs, P&IDs, PPFDs) to ensure electrical designs align with overall facility requirements.
Deliverable & Project Support
- Perform QA/QC reviews of electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documents to ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and safety-first design practices.
- Coordinate electrical deliverables with engineers, designers, and project team members across all disciplines.
- Review and integrate company standards, municipal requirements, and regulatory codes into project designs.
- Review third-party vendor drawings and technical submittals to confirm compatibility with intended electrical design.
- Support project execution through field site assessments, RFI responses, and development of electrical design basis documentation.

Job Summary: The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will work within the Construction department and will report to the Electrical Project Superintendent and Electrical Construction Manager. They will work closely with other Superintendents and subcontractors. The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring supervision of the low voltage electrical project team, scheduling, quality, submitting RFIâs, providing a safe work environment, and overseeing the QA/QC programs. The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will supervise multiple electrical subcontractors performing extensive fast-tracked scope on multiple large hi-tech buildings. This position will be fully at the project site.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, low voltage electrical subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors.
- Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
- Maintain and adjust project scheduledaily.
- Manage RFIâs (requests for information) and submittal materials for review with the Client/Architect.
- Manage and oversee our cost control and QA/QC program.
- Manage and abide by all safety protocols.
- Provide resolution to design and constructability issues.
- Respond to customer/client requests and/or issues and develop resolution to problems using technical expertise.
- Must be able to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting codes and site specifications.
- Provide supporting information regarding field conditions and scope for cost estimates.
- Facilitate contractor activity ensuring performance by all contractual agreements.
- Assist withmanagementproject staffing.
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:

- Experience on large industrial or high-tech fabrication projects.
- Must be familiar with low voltage distribution, UPS equipment, electrical installations on large mechanical and process equipment, and installations in cleanroom environments.
- Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system forconstruction.
- Proficient inWindows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams),and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.

Professional Experience and Education
- A minimum of five (5) years of low voltage electrical construction experiencerequired.
- Extensive experience on large industrial and hi-techfabricationprojects preferred.
- OHSA 30Certification.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelorâs degree inCivil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience preferred.
- Education background in materials and methods of low voltage electrical construction.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for operating various types of equipment, including but not limited to excavator (20 ton Class or smaller), dozer (150 HP or smaller), loaders (Under 4 CY), >12k forklifts, backhoe, articulated dump truck, and applicable light equipment to perform construction task, such as material handling, matting, land clearing, excavation, rough grade roadways and sites, underground utility work for various types of heavy civil, industrial, and wind projects.

- Operates heavy equipment and includes knowledge of equipment functions, running, navigating, detects or assesses problems, mechanical aptitude, and driving
- May build level and/or extreme terrain and excavate land surfaces, using various pieces of construction equipment listed above
- Drive and maneuver equipment equipped with blades in successive passes over working areas to remove topsoil, vegetation, and rocks and to distribute and level earth or terrain
- Gather and load dirt, stone, equipment, materials, and waste product from jobsite onto trucks using different pieces of equipment
- Ability to excavate trenches with proper slopes per OSHA
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly, listen and understand information through spoken words and sentences to ensure full comprehension of job duties, safety regulations, and other situations that may require an immediate response
