Job Description
The purpose of this position is to perform the role of an engineering technician on a medium-sized, broad and diverse task force. This requires comprehensive knowledge of an individual engineering discipline and general knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.

What you will be doing
- Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget.

About this Role
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports overall project planning and scheduling, resource coordination, project accounting and control, while assisting with technical direction and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards. The Assistant Project Manager - BESS Division must possess a working understanding of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design principles and technical specifications to help ensure work is executed within defined parameters. Position Summary:The Life Safety Systems Construction Manager will work within the Construction Management department and will report to Electrical Project Manager. The Life Safety Systems Construction Manager will manage the Electrical Team and lead our onsite Electrical quality control efforts, which will include document review during preconstruction through commissioning and punch list. Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee electrical subcontractor and vendor installation work daily to ensure they are maintaining their installation schedule, support system startup, and commissioning activities.
- Interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating mechanical and electrical system startups.
- Verify all documentation is complete and equipment being prepared for startup is construction complete and can safely be started.
- Coordinate MEP systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design.
- Organize and facilitate training of clients' personnel in the operations and maintenance of MEP systems.
- Run startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, design team members, multiple subcontractors, local utility agencies and clients to coordinate/drive MEP system start up activities.
