RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews project plans, requirements and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project and develop scope of work, labor and equipment costs.
Prepares quantity takeoffs and pricing of scope either through self-perform production based estimate or unit price estimating.

Initiates subcontractor solicitations and quality discussions with subcontractors to gain detailed knowledge of portion of work for which the Estimator is responsible.

QUALIFICATIONS
Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements comprehensive EHS processes for all assigned projects, while adhering to all corporate, divisional, and regional EHS programs and processes. Assists Project Manager and EHS personnel in the evaluation of the project site, equipment, and processes

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelorâs Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification
Minimum 7 years of experience, with the majority of the experience on major construction projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time
Knowledge of regulations and standards as well as hazard recognition and injury management skills

The Role
The MEP Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the selection and management of MEP subcontractors, and the review, management, and administration of mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly MEP requisitions and change orders, and MEP contractor schedule/performance.

Responsibilities
Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule.
Have thorough knowledge of companyâs contracts and understanding of all parties involved
Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs

Supervise and manage project team members
Train and develop direct reports utilizing on the job and internal and external training or development opportunities
Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reports

Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field or relevant experience. Graduate degree in engineering or business a plus
5-9+ years construction experience required; working for a general contractor on water/wastewater treatment facilities highly preferred. DBIA and LEED Accreditation a plus
Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 2 years supervisory experience
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment

The Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists.
