Job Summary
The OHE General Foreman leads the crew to complete daily tasks related to the placement of overhead electrical cables to meet customer needs, ensuring crew safety, keeping track of employee hours, completing daily & weekly safety briefings/inspections, and calls in project utility locations. This position requires extensive knowledge of overhead electrical distribution systems, management of multiple crews, distribution trouble shooting, management of storm crews, scheduling of crews, and coordinating resources. General Foremen read blueprints of projects and are responsible for production efficiency, training, and the safety of their crews. This position oversees multiple overhead utility line teams and coordinates with both internal/external departments to manage logistic support.

This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is physically active, with lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. Precise hand-eye coordination. Ability to identify and distinguish colors.

As the Area Planning Lead, this position performs Project Control activities and/or supervises the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment. This role serves as Control Team Leader on small to large projects and provides direct supervision to a small team of Project Controls personnel, or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team in the Regional Office.
⢠Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract
⢠Develop totally integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules or cost control programs
⢠Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays
⢠As a Lead Scheduler analyze schedule, review delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and presents them to internal groups as well as the client
⢠As Lead Cost Specialist maintain the cost system and provide required reports
⢠Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
⢠Other duties as assigned
⢠Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
⢠Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
⢠Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
⢠Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
⢠Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
⢠In-depth knowledge and understanding of scheduling, cost and planning in relation to EPC projects
⢠Strong background in P6 (Primivera)
⢠Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems
⢠Held a leadership role as a Control Team Lead (CTL) on a small-sized project or cost or scheduling lead on a large project
⢠May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
⢠Prior experince is constructing a Metals Refinery facility

How you will contribute:
