The Scaffold and Insulation laborer will install, repair, and/or remove insulation on piping, ductwork, industrial equipment, and other surfaces. They will also fabricate and install removable insulation blankets. The Insulation laborer will work with a sheet metal worker who will help select the type and size or insulation and related materials to be used according to project requirements. They will also be required to assemble and dismantle tubular and system scaffolding or other temporary structures, installing ladders, walkways and handrails at sites using a variety of tools and lifts. They are responsible for cleaning and preparing sites, including removing debris and loading/unloading scaffolding material.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Substation Superintendent (Relay) provides input and technical expertise for utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects. Support of Engineering review, procurement (if necessary), construction, and start-up of a high or medium voltage electrical system and associated substation. Provides technical owner correspondence support.
