RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and processes subcontracts, subcontract change orders and Performance and Payment bonds to ensure they are in compliance with specified terms.
Collects and reviews project subcontractor/supplier lien waivers.
Collects, reviews, and processes subcontractor/supplier monthly project invoices. Needs to ensure all invoices have been accrued properly and timely to the correct cost reports and phase codes.
Ensures proper payments to all subcontractors and major suppliers.
Individual has a strong understanding of the Walsh monthly P&L process and ensures timely submittal of project P&Ls and reviews the P&Ls for accuracy.
Processes cost transfers on project cost report for Project Management staff.
Provides monthly assistance to Project Management staff in the preparation of monthly billings to project owners. This position requires in depth analysis of the owner billing, when applicable on the project.
Collects, reviews and submits monthly owner billings to the Senior Project Accountant II for processing.
Monitors cash flow and communicate with the project staffs on tracking A/R and when the projects are paid.
Individual must be able to work independently and travel out to jobsites to perform regular cost report reviews.

What you will be doing

- Reviews and approves staffing and equipment needs for efficient and effective project production.
- Participates in the dispute resolution process with support from internal legal counsel.

- Knowledge of Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
- Expertise to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to common inquiries or request for changes/claims from subcontractors, management, co-workers, regulatory agencies, or owners. Writes speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Proven ability to effectively present information to executive management and/or public groups.
- Comfortable working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Identifies problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions while interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing leadership for multiple aspects of controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of personnel
Project start up, project completion, and entire close-out process
Develops strategy for personnel development & recruiting
Responsible for managing contractual issues
Establishing and maintain customer relationships
Accurate forecasting of costs for job completion
Provide leadership and development to project team
Final say in the resolution of problems
Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
Identifies issues to Program Manager as required to ensure the success of the project
Reviews and approves preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost to complete
Ensures construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed
Coordinate with Safety Manager to ensure projects are completed in accordance with safety goals
QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience
Bachelorâs degree preferred
Experience in managing construction teams
Success in client relationships
