Job Summary

The Civil Construction Foreman leads the crew to complete daily tasks related to the construction and maintenance of underground non-energized power lines, from plant/station to meter base, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity. They read blueprints of projects and are responsible for production. This position oversees the Line team, ensures crew safety, and collaborates with personnel from other departments.

• Obtain all the necessary materials for the job, and ensure all permits and licenses are in place.
• Oversee work related to each project and assume full responsibility for its quality and timeliness.
• Compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices according to MasTec or the customer, whichever standard is higher.
• Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
• Disseminates information and ensures understanding of safety briefings.
• Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product.
• Perform switching procedures to isolate and insulate, splice, and terminate underground power lines following proper safety procedures.
• Provide for connecting and disconnecting, installing and removal, moving and transferring of various electrical devices on customers facilities, i.e., transformers, transformer banks, regulators, switches, switching devices, capacitor banks, etc.
• Properly phase and mark/tag underground equipment.
• Drive, haul, and/or operate equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work.
• Train new hires and trainees to learn the trade.
• Call in utilities located at each project site.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment and general construction.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred

• 6 or more years of experience, including extensive experience supervising and training skilled labor.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is physically active, with lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Position Summary:

The Project Manager will work within the Operations Department and will report to the Project Director. This role will oversee all phases of construction, including preconstruction planning, procurement, scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and turnover. The Project Manager will serve as the primary interface between Hoffman, client, design consultants, and trade partners, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position will be fully at the project site near Amarillo, Texas and will require both in-office and on project site activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of construction including preconstruction through closeout.
• Drive overall project performance ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with client representatives, design consultants, and trade partners to ensure alignment of deliverables and performance standards. Assist with development of estimate budget for projects.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and performance tracking.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and contract modifications.
• Oversee billing and schedule of values formation.
• Generate monthly client billings.
• Business Development - evaluate potential projects and clients, and interact directly with developers, owners, architects, subconsultants and subcontractors.
• Promote a transparent, solution-oriented environment through proactive communication and resolution of issues.

Salary Range: $100,000-$201,600 +12% geo-uplift and additional compensation for temporary relocation of $4000+/month

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,civil engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.
• A minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor required.
• Proven success managing large-scale construction projects through completion.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and QC best practices. LEED Accreditation or the ability to become certified 18-24 months preferred.

Position Related Skills

• Proficient inWindows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams),and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).

Job Summary: The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will work within the Construction department and will report to the Electrical Project Superintendent and Electrical Construction Manager. They will work closely with other Superintendents and subcontractors. The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring supervision of the low voltage electrical project team, scheduling, quality, submitting RFI’s, providing a safe work environment, and overseeing the QA/QC programs. The Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent will supervise multiple electrical subcontractors performing extensive fast-tracked scope on multiple large hi-tech buildings. This position will be fully at the project site.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, low voltage electrical subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project scheduledaily.
• Manage RFI’s (requests for information) and submittal materials for review with the Client/Architect.
• Manage and oversee our cost control and QA/QC program.
• Manage and abide by all safety protocols.
• Provide resolution to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to customer/client requests and/or issues and develop resolution to problems using technical expertise.
• Must be able to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting codes and site specifications.
