Scaffold Builder -

This person will assist in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling oftubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Has basic hand tools to bring to site.
• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.
• Properly secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for the erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
• Dismantles scaffolding when it has been properly communicated to do so.
• Inspects and properly stows scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Sr. Project Manager can run a standalone multi-craft, joint venture, or EPC project up to $200+ million dollars. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project Safety, Quality, and all Project Controls required to lead the project. Dependent upon the project structure the PM is responsible for directing engineering, technology providers as well as JV partners. The PM is accountable for all aspects of the project including but not limited to safety, quality, labor, material, scope, client interaction, and overall execution of all disciplines.

To successfully manage their work, they must have a thorough understanding of the industry best practices and codes for all disciplines.The role requires interfacing with all areas affected by the project including the client(s), engineering/design, subcontractors, distributors, vendors, and the ongoing strategic communication with project management regarding the status of the project.

Location & Travel Details: You can be based in any city or state in the U.S.. This is a traveling, project based position, up to 75% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 8-18 months on average per project. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee and manage entire site management team (Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Quality Manager, Safety Manager, etc.)
• Represent in a professional manner in all client interaction activities.

• Establish the cashflow forecast and curve to ensure positive cashflow for the project.
• Act as primary company representative in all customer interactions.
• Know all the provisions, terms, and scope of the Prime contract.
• Develop and prepare Schedule of Values and all Invoices to customer.
• Using established personnel requisition process, work with Recruiting to hire staff professionals for your project.
• Assist Project Engineer in taking the Estimate and converting it to the Standard Phase codes.
• Approve all construction equipment purchases and rentals.
• Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor.

SUPERVISORY:

• Supervise 10 or more direct reports, include other Project Manager levels and have the ability to lead a project of up to consisting of up to 500 or more employees and various departments.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction management.
• Must have experience in heavy industrial construction in industries such as fossil power generation, mining, metals, heavy manufacturing.
• Eleven (11) years of construction field experience.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will plan, develop, and review electrical engineering design work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project. Additional Qualifications

• Must be proficient in the use and application of international design standards including IEC and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).

• Previous experience as Design Supervisor/Lead Designer on FEEDs is a plus.
• Previous experience preparing estimated quantities, jobhour estimates, and schedule planning is strongly preferred.

The Operations Manager provides direct supervision to the Regional Managers and Warranty Manager, oversees plant production, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across all operational functions.

This role requires strong technical expertise in solar plant operations, including a deep understanding of SCADA systems, inverter functionality, and power plant performance management. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven leadership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Manage and oversee warranty claims through the Warranty Manager, ensuring timely coordination with OEMs and resolution of equipment issues.
• Monitor and verify warranty coverage, claim documentation, and performance trends to mitigate downtime and optimize asset performance.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, asset owners, and key stakeholders regarding operational performance and plant status.
• Provide regular reporting and performance updates to clients and executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and responsive service.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in solar operations and maintenance, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar power systems, including SCADA systems, inverter controls, trackers, and plant monitoring software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for plant and inverter-level issues.

The Risk Management Team is a critical, strategic function tasked with protecting the enterprise from catastrophic financial loss while providing cost-effective risk management and insurance solutions that mitigate operational risk, contribute to competitive advantage, and enhance profitability. This team is comprised of finance, operations, contract, and risk professionals.

The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Risk Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This Senior Manager will establish, manage, and execute the financial strategy and core risk management program elements for the department.

I. Financial Planning and Reporting

• Develop models to forecast program revenues and expenses.
• Analyze program performance to ensure cost-effectiveness across all business units.
• Perform analysis and compile annual, monthly, and ad hoc financial and/or risk reports.
• Prepare internal reports and communicate key metrics and performance indicators and results to senior management.
• Oversee department cashflows and ensure timely processing of all risk payables and receivables.
• Support insurance-related monthly accounting transactions.

II. Project and Pursuit Support

• Understand the current and pipeline development projects, including the nature and requirements of each, to ensure compliance.
• Interact with Legal counsel to identify risk in proposed construction agreements.
• Establish coverage specifications, and assist in negotiations with insurers.
• Interact directly with lenders, joint venture partners, and project owners to assure insurance meets requirements and provide required documents for each project.
• Liaise with insurance brokers to oversee, coordinate services, and provide strategic and operational guidance.
• Assist Project Teams in implementing insurance procedures, budgets, and accounting for all newly acquired projects.

III. Risk Program Administration

• Oversee the administration of the company's captive insurance program, including financial management, regulatory compliance, underwriting, and policy issuance.
• Maintain the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), inclusive of all essential project documents, insurance schedules, and claim activity.
• Manage risk management program documentation to protect the Organization against unknown risk.
• Provide recommendations for alternative risk management solutions.
• Assist with internal and external insurance program audits.

IV. Leadership and Management

• Manage direct reports within the Risk Management team.
• Work collaboratively with the various business groups throughout the organization.
• Take leadership and ownership for creative and effective risk management solutions that will further develop the firm’s overall strategic best practices.
• Interface effectively with project teams, business partners (Insurers, Brokers, TPAs, Actuaries, Captive Managers, etc.), and others to develop and implement risk management processes and solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years in the commercial insurance industry, real estate, or corporation with active construction programs or property investments.
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Risk Management, Finance, or related field preferred).
• Preferred: Master’s Degree.
• CPCU, ARM or CRIS designation is desirable.
• Broad knowledge and experience in risk management, risk financing, risk assessment, and risk strategy.

Project Overview:

Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction partner on TerraPower's Natrium team. Selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for its Advanced Reactor demonstration Program, Natrium is participating in a DOE initiative to reestablish U.S. leadership in nuclear energy that provides matching funds to industry to design and build an operational advanced reactor. TerraPower, a leading advanced generation technology company founded by former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, partnered with General Electric-Hitachi, will be deploying its 345 MWE sodium fast reactor (SFR), called Natrium. Located in Wyoming, the Natrium Demonstration plant features an advanced, cost-competitive reactor design that is safer, easier and less costly to construct, less expensive to operate, and able to provide energy that is competitive with fossil fuels. It also features an innovative molten salt storage output, combined, the plant can produce more than 500 MWE. The Natrium Demonstration plant will be licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
