The Paint Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for ensuring that all requirements and work activities are performed safely, cost-effectively and with proper quality. In addition to providing guidance and supervision of regional paint/coatings projects, this role will perform or support the Estimator duties of analyzing drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services on behalf of the organization.
In addition, this position provides assistance and subject matter expertise in managing time and material maintenance and other paint and coatings work.

This person will provide continuous oversight of execution of maintenance work, communication any deviations to work, communication any deviations to work schedules, insuring any noted improvements to the execution process are clearly communicated, and necessary closure and reliability data is promptly inputted for each job.This is accomplished by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Supervisory Responsibilities - May directly or indirectly supervise workers in the Operations Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Austin Industrial's policies & procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Thacker Pass is the largest known lithium resource in the United States. Once complete, the mine and processing facilities will produce more lithium carbonate than any other facility in the United States by far â enough to power 1 million electric vehicles per year.
As the EPCM contractor for Lithium Americas, Bechtel is responsible for managing and integrating the efforts of a team contractors engineering and building the facility. We are also managing procurement of about $1 Billion in goods and services.
Earth work began in 2023 and design and procurement of long-lead equipment is underway.
The project is located in the high desert and wide-open spaces of north-central Nevada about 25 miles from the Oregon border, 1 hour northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada and 3 hours northeast of Reno.
Planned with sustainability and the environment in mind, the facility will use its excess process heat to generate electricity and will recycle process water up to seven times. Once the second phase of the project is complete, Thacker Pass will produce more than 16 times the current U.S. output of lithium.

In this role, you will manage a team and provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover and subcontracts. Your oversight will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.#LI-NP1
⢠Must have experience with construction in all areas of piping installation.
⢠Provide guidance to the FEâs so they can complete training requirements.
⢠Review pipe installation work packages for completness
⢠Assist with inspection of field installations and completion of associated documentation.
⢠Review quantity take-offs, control, reporting and forecasting for piping quantities.
⢠Assist with field change documentation and as-built documentation as required.
⢠Teach the FEâs as to how best to resolve design and constructability issue.
⢠Oversee the FEâs interaction with superintendents and subcontractors in constructability and quality issues.
⢠Work with the suppliers to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
⢠Train FEâs on material requisitions, coordinate, and review vendor drawings, and best practices to expedite the delivery of vendor materials to support the projects schedule.
⢠Assist Piping FEâs with the interpretation of design drawings.
⢠Assist with piping material take-offs.
⢠Assist Pining FEâs to assure that materials are stored properly to ensure environmental protection.
⢠Review the Piping FEâs material receipt inspections.

This position will be primarily responsible for performing all management and leadership responsibilities and functions associated with the preconstruction and estimation process for assigned preconstruction projects. Responsibilities include motivating, coaching, and managing the entire team and DEWâs internal team. Occasional travel is required.

This position provides projects with technical expertise in one or several areas of discipline. The role leads discipline engineers in providing technical assistance to construction management.
⢠Coordinate the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepare punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turnover to the client or for start up
⢠Interpret the intent and requirements of the design documents; ensure design drawings are reviewed for completeness and constructability; and ensure drawings are marked-up and information provided as required for the preparation of as-built drawings
⢠Maintain liaison with the companyâs technical and construction services departments to provide the technical and construction engineering expertise required to support the project
⢠Participate in pre-construction planning efforts during the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and development phases of projects, including the coordination and implementation of the constructability review program
