The Insulation Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for ensuring that all requirements and work activities performed under contract are performed safely, cost-effectively and with proper quality. In addition to providing guidance and supervision of Insulation projects, this role will perform or support the Estimator duties of: analyzing drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services on behalf of the organization.

Hoffman Construction is seeking a QA/QC Field Engineer. This individual will be an integral member of the on-site Quality Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of the construction project. Reporting to the High-Tech Program Quality Manager, the role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day site activities, quality control efforts on site, including document review during preconstruction and construction. The QA/QC Engineer plays a critical role, including inspecting the project generally, including specific scopes, during the offsite fabrication, construction, commissioning, and punch list phases of the project â working to bring all issues to closure. This position will collaborate with design professionals, clients, trade contractors and craftspeople to address complex coordination issues; you are on the front line in identifying, preventing, and solving technical problems across multiple scopes in a complex mission-critical environment. Space and fasten together rods in forms according to blueprints, using wire and pliers.
Determine quantities, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions.
Cut rods to required lengths, using metal shears, hacksaws, bar cutters, or acetylene torches.
