Rotating Equipment Specialist (Maintenance)
Bilfinger Inc. is seeking an Rotating Equipment Specialist at our Marysville, MO site location.
The Rotating Equipment Specialist will play a critical role supporting our mechanical maintenance, fabric maintenance, NDT operations and small to large cap industrial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of rotating equipment, functioning similarly to a site manager to ensure operational excellence and safety across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Oversight: Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and blowers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, coordinating with various teams to ensure project timelines and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues in rotating equipment, employing analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize performance data to assess equipment reliability and efficiency, recommending upgrades or modifications as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports, generating regular reports for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations, promoting best practices in safety and environmental stewardship.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to support project planning and execution, providing expertise on rotating equipment specifications and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., API, ASME) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance within the oil, gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating machinery.
- Proven experience in site management and team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions:
This position may require working in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor sites and industrial facilities, with occasional travel to project locations.
