The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S.
Our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery next year.
The candidate will act as theArea Manager (Siteworks) on the CCGT Project in Pecos, Texas. The candidate may start in the home office in Reston, Houston or on project site inPecos, TX, as single status, to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field when the candidate will locate on a long-term assignment to the project inPecos, TX. This position is contingent upon project award.
The Area Manager (Siteworks) is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the Siteworks scope of the project from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction and close-out. They will supervise the development of budgets and schedules, manage performance, report progress, and initiate action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications.â¯They will resolve problems and coordinate the final turnover of work to downstream work activities. They will provide leadership for the development and maintenance of a high performance project team and has overall responsibility for the execution of the Siteworks scope, ensuring that the Project is delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety and to Customer and Bechtel performance expectations. #LI-JL1

Position Description:
The Area Superintendent (AS) is responsible for supervision of a specific area of the project. The AS is responsible for establishing and achieving the project goals related to all areas of field management including schedule, budget, safety, quality, and the development of personnel. The AS will typically be assigned field engineers to assist them in the oversight of safety compliance, craft supervision and production, trade partner coordination, scheduling, material handling, daily reports, quality control and craft training.This is a safety sensitive position.

Bechtel National, Inc. (BNI), Bechtelâs government services business, is one of the top providers to departments and agencies of the U.S. and British governments. Its successes include many large, first-of-a-kind projects in government site management, environmental restoration, defense, space, energy, and national and homeland security. This position will provide support to the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) located at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
UPF is a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar project and will be a first-of-its-kind complex for enriched uranium operations in support of Y-12 missions. UPF is one of the Department of Energyâs largest investments in Tennessee since the Manhattan Project and one of the National Nuclear Security Administrationâs largest construction projects. When complete, UPF will: replace a 70-year-old facility with modern buildings, reduce operational costs and energy consumption, improve worker safety, and provide enriched uranium capabilities well into the future.
The UPF project works on a 4/10 schedule. Start times are flexible but the standard work week is: Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site. Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check. Position Summary: Provides maintenance services, in installation, repairs and inspections of all boiler components along with
working the towers and exchangers in industrial plants and/or industrial settings to keep them in good working order.
Position Responsibilities:
â¢Assembles, analyzes defects, and repairs boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and vats in the field, following blueprints and using hand tools.
â¢Attaches rigging, signals crane operator to lift part to specified position.
â¢Assembles boiler frame, tanks using plumb bobs, levels, wedges, and dogs.
â¢Aligns water tubes and connectors and expands ends to drums and headers, using tube expanders.
â¢Bolts or welds casing sections.
â¢Assists in testing assembled vessel.
â¢Repairs boilers or tanks in the field.

The candidate may start in the home office in Reston, Houston or on project site in Pecos, TX, as single status, to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field when the candidate will locate on a long-term assignment to the project in Pecos, TX. This position is contingent upon project award.
The Field Engineer (Siteworks) is responsible for providing technical assistance, direction, and support to Bechtel and subcontractor field supervision for construction and installation activities for all disciplines associated with specified area equipment and materials. #LI-KL1
