Project Overview:
Several combined cycle power projects are currently underway or planned to be developed and executed by Bechtel over the next 5-10 years. During the development phase of these projects, teams will be organized to support multiple projects concurrently. Following project award, dedicated project teams will be formed, and personnel will be assigned to each combined cycle project.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team to manage subcontracts and monitor operations. You will develop the subcontracting strategy, operating procedures, staffing plan, and the contracts section of the Project Execution Plan. You will review and approve bid details, commitments, and negotiations. Your oversight will ensure project subcontracting is consistent and that requirements have been implemented. #LI-VB1
Major Responsibilities:
- Participates with the project team on a small to medium sized project in defining and developing the scope of Contracts work, and in preparing and coordinating Contracts plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets
- Prepares and/or directs preparation of commercial terms and conditions for use on project contract documents, ensuring that requirements of the prime contract are incorporated
- Participates in the development of the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule and the division of responsibility
- Coordinates Contract execution plan with Engineering and Construction plans and operations to ensure that input from these disciplines will enable Contracts to perform its functions in accordance with project plans
- Reviews evaluations with global business unit functional managers and the global business unit Manager of Supply Chain
- Manages contracts of any complexity
- Provides functional direction and/or supervision to all assigned subcontracts personnel and monitors operations to ensure all activities are performed in accordance with project requirements and applicable directives, management instruction, procedures, and functional guidelines
- Develops and implements the subcontracting strategy for assigned project or office, incl. development and translation of the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule into a specific working contracting plan
- Reviews bid tabulations for accuracy, bidder recommendation, completeness, and approves selection of bidders within delegated approval authority
- Ensures all commitments made by subordinate personnel are accurately presented and follow established approval and signing authorities contained in company policies and procedures
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and practices.
- Specialized courses or experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations, and accounting.
- Possesses knowledge and experience in contract management and applies that knowledge and experience to establish project contracting procedures and tools
- Knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting best practices, policies, and procedures as well as ability to stay up to date on industry wide trends.
- Demonstrated oral and written and inter-personal communication skills as well as ability to develop staffing plans, make hiring decisions, and manage a team of contracts professionals.
- Experience in differing contract types, fee arrangements and contract terms and ability to apply those concepts to the development of complex tenders.

The Role:
The Senior ERP Engineer â Oracle EBS Projects & Financials is responsible for the design, configuration, development, integration, and ongoing support of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Projects and Financials modules. This role serves as a senior technical and functional expert within the ERP Applications team, ensuring system stability, financial integrity, and alignment with enterprise business processes.

- Act as the senior subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Projects and Financials.

Project Overview:
The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. This project is of significant scale and complexity, and our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery this year.
We are looking for a geotechnical engineer seeking a challenging project requiring geotechnical investigation program development and execution, design of complex ground improvement systems, deep foundation design and installation, earthworks construction, advanced finite element modelling for geotechnical analysis, and other geotechnical-related project activities.
Job Summary:
This position is for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide field support during earthworks operations at the project site near Cheyenne, WY. The successful candidate will report functionally to the Geotechnical & Hydraulic Engineering Services (G&HES) Group Supervisor or their designee and will report to the project field engineering team for day-to-day direction and coordination. This individual is expected to be able to work independently but will receive technical supervision and functional oversight as needed. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate work tasks with other engineering disciplines, particularly CSA, Construction and ES&H functions and the project management team. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, can-do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs. This role will specifically support the project. The selected candidate will be based at the project site for an anticipated period of one year. Major Responsibilities:
This role will support the earthworks operations at the project site. Other responsibilities may include development and implementation of geotechnical investigations, origination and review of geotechnical engineering designs and specifications, engineering calculations and preparation and review of geotechnical studies in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements. The work will require tracking scope of work, schedule, and budgets and coordinating with other technical disciplines in a team environment. Specific tasks will include (but not limited to):

- Advanced knowledge of earthworks with an emphasis in cold weather earth work best practices.

- Has direct hire experience directing and managing all construction aspects of a large construction project.
