Project Overview:

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Major Responsibilities:

Safety & Quality

• Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.

Technical

• Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
• Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevantexperience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong expertise in overseeing the testing and inspection of piping systems to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written; and excellent problem-solving ability.
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

Job Summary:

The Manager of State Government Affairs is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies to support Bechtel’s objectives with state legislatures and executive branch officials. Focus states include Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Washington, Wyoming, and Virginia; for policies related to Energy, Permitting, Technology, Tax, Workforce, and Economic Development. This role will coordinate closely with business and project personnel, Business Development, Communications, and Government Affairs. This role will have primary responsibility with Texas and Louisiana, with strategy and coordination responsibilities across multiple states.

*This role can be based in our Houston, TX office or in Washington, DC. This role is approved for Part-Time Telework (current policy requires 3 days per week in office).

Major Responsibilities:

The Manager of State Government Affairs applies strategic understanding of government processes, regulations, and relationships; is a proactive communicator, skilled in advocacy and adept at fostering partnerships with key stakeholders; responsible for development of strategy, capabilities, and resources to advise business leaders.

• State Government Relations Strategy: Builds framework for advocacy and engagement strategies to align organizational goals, in line with legislative, regulatory, and policy developments. Supports all business lines and business development leaders across the states, with a focus on major projects.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain the strategy across Bechtel’s business lines to develop strong relationships with relevant state government agencies and associated organizations, congressional committees, policymakers, and industry groups. Develop Bechtel’s approach to state-level government-related conferences, hearings, and industry events.

• Advocacy and Policy Development: Provide policy recommendations and contribute to legislative and regulatory proposals related to Energy, Permitting, Technology, Economic Development, and other relevant topics.

• Build Capabilities: Support Bechtel project teams to develop state Government Affairs strategies; ensure a consistent approach across all business lines, unique to each state and business profile.

• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal departments, including legal, political compliance, and communications teams, to ensure alignment on policy priorities, messaging and compliance. Coordinate with external partners, such as contractors and industry associations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, international relations, or a related field, and 12+ years’ experience in government affairs, policy development, or related role with a focus on state government.

Job Summary:

Serves as the liaison between Project Procurement for reporting of undelivered materials, Field Procurement for storedmaterials, and Construction personnel for accurate reporting of materials required for work package installation. Coordinates with responsible groups that materials are provided in a timely manner and in sufficient quantity to support the completion of construction work. Ensures accurate distribution of materials to Construction and/or (Sub) Contractor installation locations. Implements planned inventory control mechanisms, assists in early identification of surplus or unneeded materials, and coordinates material availability in support of design revisions or rework.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Lead materials coordination or planners on a large project or works within business line Supply Chain department in a functional role in a small to medium sized GBU
• Provides expertise, advice, and direction for project and field materials management activities to ensure the overall organizational effectiveness among all functions responsible for the materials management process
• Reviews the initial master schedule, detailed timing and sequence of each functional group, and actual progress of each group to confirm that materials meet required delivery dates
• Reviews any schedule revisions for impacts and participates in the development of contingency planning
• Interfaces between Construction and Supply Chain to identify, requisition and establish delivery dates for material requirements resulting from design changes, rework, contingency/work arounds, scope changes, or materials missed in Engineering takeoffs
• Reviews plans at the jobsite for adequacy of material warehousing, maintenance, control, and handling
• Coordinates with Construction and Field Supply Chain the plans for material identification, material availability in support of installation plans, and equipment requiring special handling at the site
• Formulates specialized training and career development programs necessary to assure that all assigned material management personnel are properly trained and qualified

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of either project procurement operations related to the acquisition of materials on projects, or of the engineeringdiscipline within the area of responsibility, the work process, and the deliverables produced (must have a basic knowledge ofthe other).

Job Summary:

In this role, the Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor will supervise a team of Mechanical Engineering personnel, estimate project staffing needs, and schedule and assign work. You will prepare discipline estimates and work plans and review and approve mechanical investigations and studies. Your leadership will drive high quality work plans, successful implementation of mechanical components, team support and training, and project performance.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Major Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, directs, and participates in the day-to-day mechanical engineering activities utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)
• Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of personnel assigned, estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work accordingly
• Prepares or oversees the preparation of mechanical discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly

• Working knowledge of engineering procedures, covering discipline deliverables, production, and control, as well as organization and responsibilities for the Engineering Department.
• Experience in resolving complex technical problems and the ability to articulate explanations is essential.
• Extensive knowledge and application of ANSI, ASME, and other Industry Codes and Standards.

Project Overview:

Thacker Pass is the largest known lithium resource in the United States. Once complete, the mine and processing facilities will produce more lithium carbonate than any other facility in the United States by far — enough to power 1 million electric vehicles per year.

As the EPCM contractor for Lithium Americas, Bechtel is responsible for managing and integrating the efforts of a team contractors engineering and building the facility. We are also managing procurement of about $1 Billion in goods and services.

Earth work began in 2023 and design and procurement of long-lead equipment is underway.

The project is located in the high desert and wide-open spaces of north-central Nevada about 25 miles from the Oregon border, 1 hour northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada and 3 hours northeast of Reno.

Planned with sustainability and the environment in mind, the facility will use its excess process heat to generate electricity and will recycle process water up to seven times. Once the second phase of the project is complete, Thacker Pass will produce more than 16 times the current U.S. output of lithium.

In this role, you will monitor and organize Direct Hire union mechanical installation, safety, quality, and technical activities with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction to craft General Foremen and Foreman. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. #LI-NP1

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cost, schedule and optimization of craft labor and maintaining the overall construction schedule, the 90 day and 4 week look ahead schedules for labor and equipment
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate action to correct deficiencies.
• Coordinate safety training in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
• Champion the cause of ZERO Accident Philosophy.
