About this Role
North Houston Pole Line is seeking dedicated Safety Representatives to join our team who has experience in the utility construction space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures related to overhead and underground electrical distribution. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety excellence.
What You'll Do
- Inspecting and Monitoring:Conduct regular inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Assessment:Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards associated with overhead and underground electrical distribution activities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees and contractors on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices for working with distribution systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant safety regulations and standards pertaining to power distribution systems and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training activities, and compliance documentation. Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.

We are seeking a Scaffold Builder for a position in Pass Christian, MS. This position assembles, positions, modifies, and dismantles scaffolding to job specifications. Non-exempt role; Reports to a Frontline Supervisor (Leadman or foreman); Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- One to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
- NCCER certified is a plus
- Ability to read engineered drawings preferred
- Ability to operate different types of Forklift
- Written pre-employment qualification test

- Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)

Basic Job Requirements
⢠Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen (18) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
⢠Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

⢠Advanced degree such as an Masters in Business Administration, Law degree (Juris Doctor), or global equivalent
⢠Fourteen (14) years of contract management, subcontract administration, and procurement experience supporting engineering and construction projects
⢠Experience developing negotiating contract terms and conditions specifically for contracts related to services, construction, engineering, materials and equipment installation
⢠Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terms and conditions
⢠Broad understanding of the construction industry and contract language associated engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM)
⢠Experience with administering the Request for Proposal/Request for Quotation (RFP/RFQ) process for contractors on heavy industrial construction projects
⢠Experience in accurately formulating multiple compensation structures including, but not limited to, reimbursable cost, lump sum, and unit price
⢠Experience in work change and claims evaluation and negotiation
⢠Experience in creating Request for Proposal (RFP)/Contract packages and interfacing with multiple disciplines in their creation
⢠Experience in creating Project Specific Contract Terms and Conditions by flowing down terms from the Prime Contract
⢠Experience working with Project Management, Engineering, and Construction to develop a sound Project Execution Plan and Contract Plan
⢠Experience in the Team Contract Management approach to contracting which includes each department being responsible for a portion of the RFP/Contracting process
⢠Experience in formulating strategies for individual contracts
⢠Excellent communication skills
