Morley Moss, Inc. is currently looking for a Project Scheduler to work in the greater DFW area. Prior experience in Electrical Construction or similar industry, conducting similar work is preferred.

Position Overview

The Electrical Construction Project Scheduler reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, and works closely with the General Superintendent and other field supervision. Responsibilities are focused working directly with Project Field Leadership to understand project scope and create a project schedule based on information, durations, and task relationships developed by the project Team. Responsible for creating and maintaining job schedules, cross train in estimating, and project engineering.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist Team Leads, Superintendents, and the Project and Program Managers in tracking the projects against baseline schedules and budgets.
• Before the project starts, create and revise preliminary master schedules detailing the sequence of all work performed.
• Assists the Project Manager in maintaining a Master schedule for each project, identifying and recording the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
• Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates.
• Interface with Operations to discuss the impact of work and resolution of problems.
• Create work breakdown structures.
• Identify relationships, constraints, and milestones with the project work schedule.
• QA/QC review of schedule submissions for conformance.
• Incorporate Resource and Cost Loading data into schedules and report Earned Value as the project progresses.
• Assist the Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitoring such schedules to determine the impact on the master schedule, and helping formulate actions to correct scheduling problems.
• Have deep knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software and can utilize every aspect.
• Remain current on the advancements in scheduling software.
• Aid the Project Managers and others as required by incorporating Fragnets in the Project Schedule.
• Work with Field Leaders to create and fine-tune “look ahead” schedules as required.
• Create “micro schedules” for specific tasks as the project progresses
• Assign schedule activities to the appropriate General Foreman and perform the weekly schedule update with each respective General Foreman.
• Participate in the weekly schedule update with the General Contractor and report the status of updates received from the internal update process.

• Ability to master new Software especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint.
• Ability to be trained in Estimating.

• Minimum 1-3 years’ preferred experience in project management, construction management or leadership management, undergraduate degree or graduate degree in construction Management or project management or related field

This individual will be an integral member of the on-site Quality Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of the construction project. • Strong working knowledge of and competency in Field Management Software (BIM360 Field, Procore, Latista, etc.)
• High School diploma or GED required.

Job Description

Hoffman Construction is seeking a QA/QC Field Engineer. This individual will be an integral member of the on-site Quality Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of the construction project. Reporting to the High-Tech Program Quality Manager, the role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day site activities, quality control efforts on site, including document review during preconstruction and construction. The QA/QC Engineer plays a critical role, including inspecting the project generally, including specific scopes, during the offsite fabrication, construction, commissioning, and punch list phases of the project – working to bring all issues to closure. This position will collaborate with design professionals, clients, trade contractors and craftspeople to address complex coordination issues; you are on the front line in identifying, preventing, and solving technical problems across multiple scopes in a complex mission-critical environment. This position will be fully at the project site near Boise, Idaho. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

• Schedule and coordinate inspectors, trade contractors, and associated personnel
• Perform onsite inspections in assigned scope (electrical, mechanical, utilities, civil/architectural/structural, commissioning, etc.)
• Attend and provide details for QA/QC Meeting and Quality Team Meeting
• Ensure all trade contractors are following their approved QA/QC Plans
• Ensure all trade contractors are installing work in accordance with project documents, applicable codes and standards, and best work practices.
• Perform offsite and onsite inspections of Owner Furnished Equipment
• Must be able to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting, codes, and site specifications.
• Provide clear communication, verbally, written, and electronically.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Professional Experience and Education

• Minimum 2 years’ construction QA/QC experience.
• Proven experience Structural engineer, erector, and/or inspection experience.
• Concrete pre-install, install, and/or inspection experience is preferred.
• Site and architectural installation and/or inspection experience is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of and competency in Field Management Software (BIM360 Field, Procore, Latista, etc.)
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of science in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, construction management or equivalent degree and/or equivalent craft level work experience.

The Safety Engineer is a part of the Pepper Construction Company Safety Department. This position is primarily field oriented and is structured to ensure safe work practices are implemented and enforced on Pepper Construction projects. The Safety Engineer position takes a leadership role in developing and promoting our Pepper Safety Culture. The Safety Engineer is a full-time representative whose primary responsibility is to manage health and safety related concerns, maintain required documentation, files, permits, and represent Pepper Construction's safety culture on the project site.

The position will be working primarily in and around a large project site in Fayette County, Ohio (located off of Interstate 71 between Columbus and Cincinnati).
