As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, control, reporting, and closeout of OSP telecom construction projects. This role requires a disciplined project leader with strong expertise in CPM scheduling, project controls, scope and change management, stakeholder coordination, and field execution. Working closely with the MasTec Wireline Project Management Office, WPMO, this position serves as a key link between the client, construction management, engineering management, and MasTec senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong OSP project management experience, executive-level communication skills, and proficiency with Primavera P6, ArcGIS, Excel, and structured project controls practices.
This role is in the NE Region of the US. You must be located in that region. One of these states, Hybrid within Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina.

Position Summary:The Construction Scheduling Engineer will work within the Scheduling department and will report to the Scheduling Manager. They will work closely with Superintendents and Construction Managers to input status updates, incorporate changes and delays, and analyze project schedule progress. The Construction Scheduling Manager will create, maintain, and report the construction schedule from preconstruction through construction and commissioning on large hi-tech projects. ABOUT
The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four heavy civil construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, and site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States. We do a wide variety of heavy civil projects, including highways, bridges, power plants, dams, reservoirs, underground utilities, site development, and more.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Scheduler is based out of our Chattanooga, TN office, and would report to the scheduling department lead. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating with the project management team to develop and maintain cost- and resource-loaded schedules for each project under contract. This includes developing strong baseline schedules, handling regular updates in Primavera P6, and managing all phases of the schedule-from initial setup and logic creation to progress updates and recovery planning. The Scheduler will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure each schedule remains accurate, realistic, and aligned with contract requirements. The Scheduler shall also work with the Pre-Construction department to prepare initial project schedules for specific estimates prior to bid submission.
