Position Overview:

The Insulation laborer will install, repair, and/or remove insulation on piping, ductwork, industrial equipment, and other surfaces. They will also fabricate and install removable insulation blankets. The Insulation laborer will work with a sheet metal worker who will help select the type and size or insulation and related materials to be used according to project requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
• Loads and unloads insulation materials.
• Measures and cut insulation to fit round pipes and equipment.
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, wire, or banding, as needed.
• Employees are expected to bring necessary tools to jobsite.
• Will be trained on how to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Must have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in insulation and metal work.

MEP Supply Chain Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be the central point of contact for management of Contractor Furnished Equipment or Owner Furnished Equipment (Program Dependent) contracts for a major Data Center Program.
